Ra Amen specializes in representing clients in complex commercial and administrative disputes. Ra has participated in numerous class actions including a suit against the State of Georgia regarding the legality of its Medicaid benefit reductions and a suit against the City of Atlanta regarding the legality of its water rates.
Before moving to the Southeast, Ra lived in California's Bay Area. In 2005, he obtained a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University. Ra then obtained his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he graduated with honors in 2017 after serving as a Managing Editor for Emory’s Bankruptcy Developments Journal.
Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Ra worked at the Atlanta office of one of the nation's largest law firms, Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP. While in law school, Ra assisted victims of consumer fraud and interned with a leading international metals manufacturer, Novelis Inc.
Ra is also a former Peace Corps Morocco volunteer and an avid guitarist, who has performed with, recorded with, and opened for a number of Grammy-nominated artists.
